Almost there

i was holding my japanese notes, mumbling tabemasu, yomimasu, tsukurimasu on my bed when chibi called. i've brought you a tulip bud! she said.

outside, the sky is so blue. the herds of cloud were moving to the west. very fast. i thought i heard the sound of a flying kite, and smell the muddy soil, lives waking up, vanilla icecreams melting away, ants moving house, the burning pot, and sandals on the sand.

spent all my time adapting and surviving. almost filled in my country of origin as ireland. almost forget about how the millipedes coil up when i touch them. almost forget to feel the wind just because i don't see it. almost forget to run. almost.
